Determination of the permethrin - an insecticide agent

and Organic Products in Zgierz, Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes a method for determining permethrin in textile
products was elaborated.
Permethrin (C21H20Cl2O3) is a synthetic compound, which belong to
insecticide third generation. Permethrin acts in a contact and gastric manner
causing paralysis of nerve ending and myoneural junction of insects. This substance
is poorly adsorbed by a human skin therefore can be use as a repellent and an
agent to fight with flea, claws and others insects. Permethrin is low toxic to
people and animals.
